Job Description:

The Cabin Engineer III applies thorough technical principles, theories, and concepts within cabin engineering to solve a wide range of complex problems. Operating under general direction, this role independently determines approaches to solutions, guides routine-to-moderate engineering challenges, and represents the organization in technical discussions with internal teams and external stakeholders.

Your working environment:

The Engineering Center in Mobile, Alabama houses hundreds of Airbus engineers who assist in the design and development of Airbus commercial aircraft cabins, including aftermarket upgrades, reconfigurations and services of all product types across the globe.

Your challenages:

Technical Mastery:
Demonstrate complete understanding and wide application of technical principles, theories, and concepts in cabin engineering, as well as general knowledge of related disciplines.

Complex Problem Solving:
Develop imaginative, thorough, practicable technical solutions to a wide range of difficult problems, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.

Technical Signatory:
Maintain the capability and progress toward obtaining Approve technical signatory authority for engineering deliverables.

Documentation & Delivery:
Independently create, review, and deliver high-quality technical documents and presentations without requiring direct guidance.

Independent Approach:
Operate under general direction to independently determine and develop technical approaches to projects and solutions.

Program Contributions:
Contributes directly to the successful completion of specific engineering programs and major projects.

Commitment Execution:
Regularly meet high-level project commitments and deadlines across both internal and external teams.

Risk & Impact Awareness:
Exercise sound judgment and technical rigor, recognizing that errors may result in serious program delays and considerable expenditures of resources.

Guidance & Mentorship:
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members on routine to moderately complex engineering problems.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:
