About the Role You're Considering:
As part of a multidisciplinary engineering team, your skills in calculation and analysis will be called upon to support the aircraft programs in the capacity of static, fatigue, and damage tolerance stress specialist. Key responsibilities include investigating non-conformances reported by the Quality group, evaluating manufacturing deviation and its effect within the assembly, creating engineering dispositions, interpreting engineering drawings and specifications, working in close collaboration with Engineering Specialist such as Stress, Manufacturing and Production, and Aerodynamics, working hand in hand with production and production support groups to fix and resolve operational or engineering issues on aircraft, exchanging information and collaborating between sites to ensure sharing of technical knowledge, coordinating with other MAP offices to ensure all client requirements are accurately addressed, and mentoring new MRB candidates through on-the-job training.

What You Bring:

Must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident, must be able to relocate to Mobile, Alabama or commute to the location, Bachelor's degree in aeronautical or mechanical engineering or related field, minimum of five (5) years MRB/MAP experience in commercial / business aircraft OR eight (8) years design experience in Aerospace, excellent knowledge of aircraft structure and system installation, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, knowledge in mechanics of material, stress analysis and composite materials, desire and capability to obtain Engineering MRB delegation after a period of on-the-job training, knowledge in design office of aircraft structures (Airframe), extensive knowledge in CATIA V5 or similar CAD Software, ability to work autonomously and be a good teammate, excellent communication and social skills, a high sense of dedication, and a willingness to accept responsibilities while acting independently in a fast paced partner/supplier team environment, must be proficient in MS Office.

The base compensation range for this role in the posted location is: $68,911. Capgemini provides compensation range information in accordance with applicable national, state, provincial, and local pay transparency laws. The base compensation range listed for this position reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation Capgemini, in good faith, believes it may pay for the role at the time of this posting.
