Description
The Associate is responsible for completing in-store food and non‑food demonstrations, acquiring and maintaining knowledge of represented products, preparing, serving, and breaking down product, equipment, and supplies, and intercepting consumers to demonstrate products in a professional manner while maintaining a consistent overall appearance.
Responsibilities- Proactively intercept, engage, interact, and sell product to consumers in a positive manner.
- Effectively communicate product features and benefits.
- Prepare and serve food samples and use small appliances such as microwaves, fryers, skillets, coffee makers, and knives.
- Maintain a clean, sterile, and safe workstation using cleaning chemicals.
- Set up and prepare the event table for execution.
- Achieve 100% execution on assigned work.
- Assist with preparation for client visits and complete audit corrections.
- Build and maintain rapport with store personnel to meet company and client objectives.
- Complete expense reports per company policy.
- Accurately prepare and submit all online requirements on the same day as event execution.
- Access the Internet, navigate company electronic systems, use Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Adobe PDF forms.
- Education/Experience
:
High school diploma or GED; or 1–3 months of related experience and/or training preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience. - Computer Skills
:
Proficient in personal computer or mobile device applications and internal systems. - Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
:
Local food handlers permit may be required. - Physical Demands
:
Stand and walk, use hands and fingers, reach up to 65 inches, talk and hear, read instructions, stoop, kneel, squat, climb or step up a ladder, balance, lift and carry up to 25 pounds (occasionally up to 50 pounds), push and pull a demonstration cart full of appliances and supplies, prepare foods and beverages using required appliances, and be in contact with cleaning supplies. - Supervisory Responsibilities

Professional appearance and proper grooming; adherence to retailer dress code. - Language Skills
:
English primary; bilingual skills may be required.
