Product Demonstrator Part Time

Description

The Associate is responsible for completing in-store food and non‑food demonstrations, acquiring and maintaining knowledge of represented products, preparing, serving, and breaking down product, equipment, and supplies, and intercepting consumers to demonstrate products in a professional manner while maintaining a consistent overall appearance.

• Proactively intercept, engage, interact, and sell product to consumers in a positive manner.
• Effectively communicate product features and benefits.
• Prepare and serve food samples and use small appliances such as microwaves, fryers, skillets, coffee makers, and knives.
• Maintain a clean, sterile, and safe workstation using cleaning chemicals.
• Set up and prepare the event table for execution.
• Achieve 100% execution on assigned work.
• Assist with preparation for client visits and complete audit corrections.
• Build and maintain rapport with store personnel to meet company and client objectives.
• Complete expense reports per company policy.
• Accurately prepare and submit all online requirements on the same day as event execution.
• Access the Internet, navigate company electronic systems, use Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Adobe PDF forms.

• Education/Experience
  :
  High school diploma or GED; or 1–3 months of related experience and/or training preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Computer Skills
  :
  Proficient in personal computer or mobile device applications and internal systems.
• Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
  :
  Local food handlers permit may be required.
• Physical Demands
  :
  Stand and walk, use hands and fingers, reach up to 65 inches, talk and hear, read instructions, stoop, kneel, squat, climb or step up a ladder, balance, lift and carry up to 25 pounds (occasionally up to 50 pounds), push and pull a demonstration cart full of appliances and supplies, prepare foods and beverages using required appliances, and be in contact with cleaning supplies.

  Retail store environment with limited travel.
