Plant Controller

Plant Controller | Hybrid | $120,000 to $140,000 + Bonus/Benefits

We are partnering with a growing manufacturing organization seeking a Plant Controller to join its leadership team. This is a highly visible role that will serve as a key business partner to plant operations while overseeing all plant finance and accounting activities. The ideal candidate will be equally comfortable operating in the financial statements, analyzing operational performance, and partnering directly with plant leadership to drive results.

• Lead all plant accounting and finance activities including month end close, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
• Partner closely with plant leadership to provide financial insight around production, labor, inventory, costing, and operational performance
• Own inventory accounting processes including standard costing, cycle counts, inventory controls, and physical inventories
• Analyze manufacturing KPIs including labor efficiency, scrap, throughput, productivity, and material usage to identify opportunities for improvement
• Develop and maintain financial forecasts, annual budgets, and operational models supporting plant decision making
• Ensure strong internal controls and compliance with company accounting policies and procedures
• Support capital investment decisions through financial modeling, ROI analysis, and post implementation review
• Lead and develop accounting staff while creating scalable processes to support growth
• Partner cross functionally with operations, supply chain, procurement, and leadership teams

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 5+ years of progressive accounting or finance experience within manufacturing environments
• Strong understanding of manufacturing accounting, inventory, costing, and operational finance
• Experience supporting month end close, forecasting, budgeting, and financial analysis
• ERP experience required with strong Excel skills
• CPA, CMA, MBA, or other advanced certifications are a plus
