^City of Satsuma - a 5% incentive pay increase is available to Fire Fighters who have completed their Fire Fighter I and Fire Fighter II training from the Alabama Fire College.

• Graduation from a standard senior high school, or successful completion of the General Educational Development (GED) test, or a combination of education and experience equivalent to these requirements.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license from state of residence.
• Certified applicants:
  Firefighter I certificate from the Alabama Fire College and Personnel Standards Commission, or a certificate from outside Alabama approved by Proboard or IFSAC. Eligible for online exam waiver.
• Certified Volunteer Firefighter applicants:
  Volunteer Firefighter certificate and a valid Candidate Physical Ability Test (CPAT). Eligible for online exam waiver.
• Non-certified applicants: must submit a Candidate Physical Ability Test (CPAT) document completed within the past year.
• Applicants must pass an examination to qualify for this position.
