• City of Prichard: $35,664 - $55,320
• City of Chickasaw: $41,280 - $64,044
• City of Saraland: $43,569 - $69,652
• City of Bayou La Batre: $37,240 - $59,535
• City of Satsuma: $40,458 - $64,678 (plus 5% incentive for Fire Fighters who completed Fire Fighter I and II training)

• Graduation from a standard senior high school, or successful completion of the GED test, or a combination of education and experience equivalent to these requirements.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license from state of residence.
• Certified applicants:
  Firefighter I certificate from Alabama Fire College and Personnel Standards Commission; if certificate from outside Alabama, must be Proboard or IFSAC approved. Such applicants eligible to waive online examination.
• Certified Volunteer Firefighter applicants:
  Volunteer Firefighter certificate and a valid Candidate Physical Ability Test (CPAT). Eligible to waive online examination.
• Non‑certified applicants: must attach a Candidate Physical Ability Test (CPAT) document completed within the past year.
