Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role located in Mobile, AL, for an Optician. The Optician will be responsible for ensuring high-quality eyewear solutions by assisting patients with frame and lens selection, assisting with fittings, and educating patients about optical options. The role includes performing basic optical adjustments, collaborating with the optometry team, and delivering excellent customer service to drive patient satisfaction.

Additional responsibilities include maintaining accurate records, managing inventory, and adhering to company policies and procedures.

Qualifications
  • Knowledge of optics and optometry practices, with an understanding of eyeglass prescriptions and lens fitting
  • Skills in customer service and customer satisfaction, with the ability to provide thoughtful, patient-focused care
  • Experience with eye exams and eyewear adjustments, ensuring precision and attention to detail
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively assist and educate diverse patient populations
  • Organizational skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
  • Certification or licensure as an Optician is preferred but not required
  • Previous experience in an optical or eye care setting is a plus
