LINK Staffing Direct Hire is conducting a search for full-time Compounding Pharmacy Technicians in the Mobile, Alabama metro area. These are permanent, direct-hire placements on behalf of a high-volume non-sterile compounding pharmacy client. Multiple positions are available across both 1st and 2nd shift, Monday through Friday. As a Compounding Pharmacy Technician at our Mobile, Alabama location, your core responsibilities will include:
- Prepare non-sterile compounded medications under pharmacist supervision following USP 795 standards and SOPs
- Accurately weigh, measure, and mix ingredients using proper compounding techniques
- Prepare formulations including creams, ointments, capsules, suspensions, and solutions
- Label, package, and stage prescriptions for dispensing or shipment
- Maintain accurate batch records, compounding logs, and all required documentation
- Perform routine cleaning, equipment upkeep, and workspace organization to maintain regulatory compliance
- Support inventory management including counting, labeling, and restocking of pharmaceutical supplies
- Contribute to accurate and timely order fulfillment in a high‑volume production workflow
- Maintain full compliance with company policies, Alabama Board of Pharmacy standards, and HIPAA requirements
Required:
- Active CPhT (Certified Pharmacy Technician) certification in good standing
- Minimum 1 year of pharmacy technician experience
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions precisely
- Comfortable standing for extended periods and performing repetitive production tasks
- High school diploma or GED
- Must be able to work on-site in the Mobile Metro area — this is not a remote position
Preferred (not required):
- Hands‑on non-sterile compounding experience following USP 795 standards
- 503A compounding pharmacy background
- Experience preparing creams, ointments, capsules, suspensions, or solutions
- Solid documentation habits in a production or regulated compounding environment
