What You'll Do
  • Wash, dry, fold, and distribute resident clothing and facility linens
  • Ensure clothing and linens are returned to the appropriate resident or department
  • Operate commercial laundry equipment safely and efficiently
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry department
  • Follow all infection control, safety, and laundry handling procedures
  • Assist housekeeping and nursing staff in meeting resident needs
  • Help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents
Qualifications
  • Ability to speak, read, write, and understand English
  • Positive attitude with excellent customer service skills
  • Compassion and respect for elderly and disabled residents
  • Dependable with regular and reliable attendance
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to perform the essential physical requirements of the position
