COMPASSIONATE CARE FACILITATOR (CCF)
A compassionate care facilitator worker provides assistance and care to people with mental illness diagnosis and developmentally delayed diagnosis in residential programs. The job description involves patience, empathy, strong interpersonal skills, and a openness to learn best care practices.
Position DescriptionThe compassionate care facilitator worker provides a number of services depending on the needs of the individual; duties will include housekeeping, cooking, running errands, helping people be active in their neighborhoods, mentoring individuals on independent living, and administering prescribed medication. Requires a person who possesses critical thinking abilities and skill to deescalate stressful situations. Pay is $12.50 an hour with weekly pay.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities of a Compassionate Care Facilitator- Assists individuals in dressing, bathing, and completing basic hygiene tasks.
- Oversees required rehabilitation exercises.
- Administers prescribed medications.
- Prepares meals and provides transportation.
- Assists with cleaning and housework.
- Teaches developmentally disabled adults how to adopt basic independent living skills.
- Performs other duties as requested by Supervisor.
