Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)

Join Our Rehabilitation Team at Mobile Rehabilitation & Wellness Center!

We are seeking a compassionate, motivated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our skilled nursing and rehabilitation team. This is an excellent opportunity for a PTA who enjoys helping residents regain strength, mobility, independence, and confidence while working as part of a collaborative interdisciplinary team.

What You'll Do
  • Provide physical therapy treatments under the direction and supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist.

  • Carry out individualized treatment plans designed to improve mobility, strength, balance, endurance, and functional independence.

  • Assist residents with therapeutic exercises, gait training, transfer training, and other rehabilitation activities.

  • Monitor resident progress and communicate changes or concerns to the supervising Physical Therapist.

  • Accurately document treatments, resident response, and progress in accordance with facility and regulatory requirements.

  • Educate and encourage residents and families throughout the rehabilitation process.

  • Collaborate with nursing, therapy, and other members of the interdisciplinary team to help residents achieve their highest practicable level of function.

  • Maintain resident safety, dignity, and confidentiality at all times.

Qualifications
  • Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.

  • Current Physical Therapist Assistant license in the state of practice.

  • Current CPR certification, as required.

  • Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills.

  • Long-term care or skilled nursing experience is preferred, but new graduates are encouraged to apply
