Overview

A play-based daycare and early learning center is seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist to support the communication and developmental growth of infants, toddlers, and preschoolers. This role is central to helping young children build foundational speech and language skills within a nurturing, collaborative classroom environment.

What you'll do
  • Conduct gentle, play-based speech, language, and early communication assessments to identify developmental needs in infants, toddlers, and young children
  • Design and deliver evidence-based therapy plans tailored to early childhood learning styles, sensory preferences, and developmental milestones
  • Partner closely with daycare teachers, early childhood specialists, and parents to integrate communication strategies into daily classroom routines, story times, and play
  • Monitor, document, and track progress on early milestones, adapting strategies to support growth in speech clarity, receptive/expressive language, and social communication
  • Guide parents and childcare staff on early language strategies, modeling techniques for home and classroom carryover
Required qualifications
  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
  • Valid Georgia State License in Speech-Language Pathology (or active eligibility)
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, an adaptable and playful approach, and a passion for early child development
Preferred qualifications
  • CCC-SLP preferred (Clinical Fellows / CFYs welcome to apply)
  • Prior experience working with pediatric populations, early intervention, or early childhood settings is a strong plus
