Position OverviewThe Events Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing banquets, member events, and private functions at the Club. This role works closely with the General Manager, culinary team, and service staff to ensure events run smoothly and exceed member expectations.
The ideal candidate has hands‑on hospitality experience, strong event or banquet coordination skills, excellent organizational abilities, and a service-oriented personality. Key Responsibilities Event Planning & Coordination- Plan and coordinate member events, banquets, receptions, and private functions
- Work with members and guests to understand event needs, menus, and logistics
- Develop event timelines and coordinate all operational details
- Oversee event setup, service flow, and breakdown
- Lead banquet and service staff during events
- Ensure a high level of service and hospitality throughout each event
- Troubleshoot issues quickly to ensure smooth operations
- Partner with the culinary team to coordinate menus and service style
- Work closely with Club leadership to deliver outstanding member experiences
- Communicate event details clearly to all operational teams
- Take ownership of event outcomes and guest satisfaction
- Identify opportunities to improve operations and event experiences
- Help expand and enhance the Club’s event offerings
- 2+ years experience in hospitality, events, banquets, or catering
- Experience working in restaurants, hotels, country clubs, or event venues
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to lead teams during live events
- Excellent communication and member service mindset
- Comfortable working evenings and weekends as events require
