Job DescriptionWe are seeking a dependable and hardworking Laundry Attendant to join a busy hotel housekeeping team. This position is responsible for washing, drying, folding, organizing, and maintaining hotel linens, towels, bedding, and other laundry items.
The ideal candidate is reliable, detail-oriented, able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, and comfortable performing physical tasks throughout the shift.
ResponsibilitiesSort hotel linens, towels, bedding, and other laundry items
Operate commercial washers and dryers safely and efficiently
Wash, dry, fold, and organize clean linens
Inspect laundry for stains, damage, or excessive wear
Maintain proper inventory and organization of clean linens
Restock linen and housekeeping areas as needed
Follow proper procedures for handling cleaning chemicals and laundry products
Keep the laundry room clean, organized, and free of safety hazards
Assist housekeeping staff with linen needs when necessary
Follow hotel cleanliness, sanitation, and safety standards
Complete other duties as assigned by management
RequirementsPrevious hotel, housekeeping, laundry, or related experience is preferred but not required
Must be dependable and have reliable attendance
Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and lift throughout the shift
Ability to lift approximately 25–50 pounds as needed
Comfortable working in a warm laundry-room environment
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong attention to detail
Ability to work weekends and holidays when scheduled
Must be able to follow instructions and maintain a steady work pace
