Talent Manager
MDW Associates is seeking a motivated and experienced Recruiter to join our growing team. This role is ideal for a recruiting professional who understands the nuances of government contracting and can successfully identify and attract high-caliber talent in specialized fields.
The Recruiter may perform a combination of some or all of the following duties:
- Manage full-cycle recruiting: sourcing, screening, and interviewing candidates
- Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and role requirements
- Develop and execute sourcing strategies to attract qualified candidates in niche technical and program support areas
- Build and maintain pipelines of cleared and non-cleared candidates
- Post positions on appropriate job boards and platforms
- Conduct candidate pre-screens, courtesy interviews and coordinate interviews
- Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the hiring process
- Maintain accurate recruiting data in the applicant tracking system
- Stay current on labor market trends and recruiting best practices
- Support recruiting events, job fairs, and networking initiatives
- Other duties as assigned
- 3+ years of recruiting experience (government contracting environment preferred)
- Strong sourcing and networking skills
- Ability to manage multiple requisitions simultaneously
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Proficiency with applicant tracking systems and recruiting tools (Linked In Recruiter, job boards, etc.)
- Demonstrated experience recruiting for NASA programs, EVM, Cost Estimation, or other highly specialized federal support roles strongly preferred
- Experience recruiting for federal agencies or aerospace/defense environments
- Familiarity with security clearance requirements and processes
- Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience)
