Airbus Commercial is looking for a HR Business Partner I to join our team based in Mobile, Alabama. This role provides tactical consultation and strategically aligns HR initiatives with overall business objectives, acting as an advocate for employees, supporting management growth, fostering employee well‑being, and catalyzing change.
Strategic Collaboration (25%)- Proactively implements solutions for organizational challenges, advising leadership on people risk.
- Collaborates with leadership to integrate HR strategies with overarching business objectives.
- Partners with business leaders to translate organizational goals into actionable HR plans.
- Influences strategic direction through understanding of people‑related needs.
- Provides guidance and advisement to managers and employees across HR domains such as compensation, benefits, and organizational development, serving as a trusted resource.
- Delivers high‑quality customer‑focused service, actively engaging and listening to employees, responding in a timely manner.
- Provides leadership on HR best practices, fostering managers’ ability to handle personnel matters, ensuring legal and ethical compliance.
- Champions personal integrity and ethics.
- Guides and supports employees in career journeys, translating development goals into tangible progress.
- Engages in workforce planning and development initiatives.
- Contributes to strategic headcount and talent development efforts.
- Supports workforce sizing and capability enhancement initiatives.
- Facilitates integration of new employees and contributes to a smooth onboarding experience.
- Supports innovative solutions and fosters creative problem‑solving to spearhead change‑management efforts, ensuring seamless transitions.
- Interprets and cascades relevant business information to the COE for design solutions.
- Acts as a conduit between the COE and end‑users, proactively identifying resistance, building buy‑in.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or a combination of education and appropriate work experience.
- 3 years of progressive HR experience in a CoE or generalist role.
- Experience with HRIS tools such as ADP, Workday or SAP.
- 2 years of experience in Aerospace (preferred).
- 1 year of experience working in a multi‑functional international environment (preferred).
- PHR, SPHR or SHRM‑CP certification (preferred).
- Ability to travel up to 15%.
- Authorized to work in the United States.

- Additional requirements may be necessary based on specific duties.
