Mobile, AL: Flexicrew Technical Services (FTS) is seeking a Human Resources Generalist to support daily human resources operations, including recruiting, employee records management, benefits administration, onboarding, and HR compliance. This position plays a key role in maintaining accurate personnel records, supporting employees throughout the employment lifecycle, and ensuring HR processes are completed efficiently and confidentially.

Essential Duties:
  • Maintain accurate employee records, including contact information, job classifications, organizational changes, and other personnel data.
  • Manage internal and external job postings and maintain records of active job openings and applications.
  • Review applications for entry-level and non-exempt positions and conduct or coordinate preliminary interviews.
  • Process staffing-related administrative tasks, including new hires, resignations, terminations, layoffs, and leaves of absence.
  • Assist with employee benefits administration, including enrollment, status changes, and communication with insurance providers.
  • Coordinate and support new hire orientation, open enrollment, and other employee information sessions.
  • Administer employee assistance and wellness-related programs.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable employment laws and regulations.
  • Perform additional HR and administrative duties as assigned.
Requirements/

Skills:
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or equivalent HR experience.
  • Three or more years of human resources experience preferred.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational, time management, and multitasking abilities.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise professionalism.
  • Knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience with HRIS software or the ability to quickly learn new HR systems.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities while meeting deadlines.
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to sit, stand, and walk throughout the workday.
  • Frequent use of hands for computer and office equipment operation.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in person and by phone.
  • Occasional bending, stooping, kneeling, and reaching.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds occasionally.
