Airbus Commercial Aircraft is looking for a Veteran Outreach Manager to join our Talent Acquisition team. This position is open to Mobile, Alabama or Kinston, NC.

The Veteran Outreach Manager will manage and execute initiatives to source, recruit, and support transitioning service members, veterans, and military spouses, with the objective of creating and managing sustainable talent pipelines. This role serves as a key point of contact for military transition programs (including DoD Skill Bridge) and coordinates efforts at military job fairs and career events. The Manager will be the designated company representative for select military base offices that support the transition of military members to civilian employment.

The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of military culture and transition processes and a proven ability to build partnerships with military installations and veteran organizations.

• Design and lead military and veteran talent strategies to enable regional growth and align with business objectives and long-term workforce planning.
• Oversee the lifecycle of military and veteran-focused programs (including Skill Bridge, mentorship, and veteran internship programs) from concept to execution and review.
• Identify and develop Military Outreach initiatives in new regions and sites, establishing new base partnerships and talent pipelines.
• Collaborate with HR, Talent Acquisition, Employee Resource Groups, and Business Leadership to ensure programs align with goals and regional expansion.

• Develop and expand military talent and transition programs (e.g., DoD Skill Bridge) and partnerships across U.S. sites to build robust career pathways for service members.
• Advise HR and business leaders on best practices for military and veteran talent acquisition and retention.
• Strengthen relationships with military transition offices, veteran service organizations, base education centers, and credentialing programs.
• Manage a network of local and regional associates who coordinate and support military recruitment and veteran programs.

• Lead community outreach within the military ecosystem and promote career pathways into aerospace roles.
• Create and manage pipelines from Skill Bridge internships and entry-level roles to leadership positions.
• Represent Airbus at military job fairs, transition summits, and career expos in the US region.
• Coordinate logistics for recruiting events targeting military talent.

• Analyze hiring data, retention trends, and program outcomes to identify gaps and drive continuous improvement.
• Ensure compliance with Department of Defense guidelines and veteran employment laws in North America, including Act as primary liaison for the DoD Skill Bridge Program.
• Develop internal processes for onboarding Skill Bridge candidates and tracking progress.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Management or related field, or equivalent combination of education and military experience.
• 10+ years of experience in military engagement or veteran affairs. Aerospace experience preferred.
• Preferred Licensure/

  PHR, SPHR, or SHRM certifications.

• Travel: 25% domestic.
• Citizenship:
  Authorized to Work in the US.

• Speaking:
  Communicate clearly in meetings and with teams.
