This candidate will report directly to the Program Supervisor – Focus Factory Resource Coordination and will support the coordination of onboarding supplier employees for Focus Factory efforts. This role requires coordination between Client and Focus Factory suppliers to ensure staffing demand is accurately maintained and aligned with scheduled work, and the hiring and onboarding efforts supports achieving the staffing demand. This position requires a highly motivated self-starter, ability to adapt processes, meticulous data and tracking, ready to work in a fast-paced production environment supporting operations departments and program offices.
Responsibilities- Coordinate onboarding/training process for Focus Factory employees to support production demand and employee readiness
- Business systems activation with continuous maintenance to ensure employees are accurately represented
- Partnering and supporting IT to obtain IT connectivity/infrastructure for Focus Factory employees to support production
- Working with Strategic Sourcing Program Office (SSPO) and Construction Managers to determine and manage hiring and skill demands
- Coordinating Focus Factory related tours and visits at Client sites
- Establishing and maintaining partnership with Focus Factory employees with efforts achieving the same goals and mission
- Maintaining data accuracy and first time quality in business systems (Core HR Management System, Learning Management System, Contractor Database)
- Associate’s degree or higher
- 2+ years of experience coordinating across organizations and administering processes
- Strong computer skills including demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, Power Point
- Data input skills and accuracy
- Ability to travel up to 10% based on business needs, out of state to other Client sites
- Experience with business systems that track and maintain employee records
- Onboarding and training experience
- Shipyard experience
- Resource management experience/understanding
- Strong partnership and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and interact with all levels of management
- Must be able to learn and adapt quickly to a demanding environment
- Must possess excellent organizational/facilitation skills
- Possess excellent time management skills
- Must be task oriented as well as be able to prioritize multiple tasks
- Must have strong problem solving and analytical skills
- Strong organizational and attention to detail
- Successful candidate must be willing to work as part of a team dedicated to the growth and advancement of Client
