Life on the team

Join a dynamic supportive team working together to solve strong technical challenges by building high-quality Service Now solutions.

We were one of the first Service Now partners in Europe, awarded the 2022 EMEA Elite Segment Partner of the Year, and most recently awarded a prestigious 2026 Service Now Partner of the Year award for Risk and Compliance.

We’ve grown a team with in-depth expertise across every aspect of the Now Platform. Our customers look to us for advice, best practice and well-designed implementations, as well as to solve enterprise-wide process challenges, by bringing great user experiences, maximising opportunities for automation and integrating across disparate tools.

We are an established team of Technical Consultants and Technical Architects at all levels and are looking for people who want to grow with us. From Junior Technical Consultants who are new to the Service Now eco-system through to developing our Technical Architects on the Certified Master Architect and Certified Technical Architect programmes, we have lots of opportunity for our people to develop in technical skills and client-facing experience.

If you want to contribute to a community that is always growing, then Computacenter’s Service Now Centre of Excellence may be for you.

What you’ll do

Our Service Now Technical Architects act as the technical design authority for complex Service Now solutions, ensuring customer requirements are translated into scalable, secure, and sustainable platform architectures.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Design and govern high quality Service Now solutions aligned to business processes and platform best practices.
  • Translate business and functional requirements into robust technical architectures and implementation designs.
  • Provide architectural governance, identifying and mitigating technical and delivery risks early.
  • Act as a trusted technical partner to customers, communicating complex technical concepts clearly to technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
  • Represent the Service Now Centre of Excellence in customer facing and internal engagements across the Service Now product portfolio.
  • Ensure adherence to coding, design, and delivery standards, producing appropriate technical documentation and handover materials.
  • Support system testing and UAT, and drive improvements in application performance, stability, and maintainability.
  • Escalate delivery risks and issues in line with organisational processes to ensure successful outcomes.
  • Work collaboratively across all Service Now CoE teams, contributing to shared standards, best practice, and continuous improvement.

Depending on experience, you will also:

  • Provide technical leadership and mentoring to consultants across the Centre of Excellence.
  • Act as technical lead for medium to large scale solutions, ensuring designs meet customer requirements and deliver expected outcomes.
  • Serve as a role model for technical excellence and professional behaviour, promoting consistent engineering standards.

What you’ll need

  • Experience of working with HRSD, SPM, GRC and IRM.
  • 5–8+ years’ experience delivering Service Now solutions, including acting in a technical or architectural role.
  • Proven expertise across the Service Now platform, including architecture, data model, APIs, development tools, and implementation patterns.
  • Architecture Excellence (ArchX) and/or Certified Technical Architect (CTA) accreditation.
  • Robust understanding of Service Now platform best practices and architectural governance.
  • Demonstrable customer facing skills with the ability to communicate complex technical issues clearly and confidently.
  • Experience providing technical leadership, mentoring, and design assurance within delivery teams
