Description
** Position Overview
** The SharePoint & Data Management Specialist provides enterprise-level data and collaboration support to the U.S. Coast Guard Offshore Patrol Cutter (OPC) Project Resident Office. This role is responsible for designing, developing, and sustaining structured data environments that enable efficient program execution, reporting, and decision-making.
Operating within a complex shipbuilding and acquisition environment, the specialist manages large volumes of program data, documentation, and reporting requirements. The role ensures that data is accurate, accessible, and aligned with program needs by developing SharePoint solutions, automated workflows, dashboards, and reporting tools.
This position directly supports program transparency, operational efficiency, and leadership decision-making by transforming raw data into actionable insights. The specialist collaborates with multiple stakeholders to support data calls, reporting requirements, and performance tracking, while maintaining data integrity and governance across systems.
** Key Responsibilities
*** Develop and maintain SharePoint sites, workflows, and document repositories
* Manage data calls, reporting processes, and tracking systems
* Create dashboards and visualizations using Power BI or similar tools
* Ensure document control, versioning, and records management compliance
* Support program metrics, reporting, and data analysis activities
* Collaborate with stakeholders to improve data accessibility and usability
** Required Qualifications
*** Bachelor's degree in IT, Data Management, or related field
* 4+ years of SharePoint or collaboration platform experience
* Experience with data analysis and reporting tools
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
* Active Secret clearance or ability to obtain one
** Preferred Qualifications
*** Power BI or advanced analytics experience
* Experience supporting Federal programs
* Knowledge of data governance practices
