Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Building Automation Systems (BAS) Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and optimization of building automation systems to ensure efficient and effective operation of facilities. This role requires a strong understanding of BAS technologies, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with other team members.
Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, and program building automation systems to meet project specifications and client requirements.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of BAS to ensure optimal performance.
- Collaborate with engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to design and implement effective automation solutions.
- Monitor system performance and make necessary adjustments to improve efficiency and reliability.
- Provide technical support and training to clients and end-users on system operation and maintenance.
- Document system configurations, changes, and maintenance activities for future reference.
- Stay updated on the latest BAS technologies and industry trends to recommend improvements and upgrades.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in building automation systems installation, programming, and maintenance.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, electrical systems, and control systems.
- Proficiency in BAS software and tools, such as Tridium, Siemens, or Johnson Controls.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with clients and team members.
- Relevant certifications in BAS or related fields are a plus.

The specific compensation for this position will be determined by several factors, including the scope, complexity, and location of the role, as well as the cost of labor in the market; the skills, education, training, credentials, and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment.
