The IT Technical Support Specialist supports Uniti’s internal customers. Additionally, the IT Technical Support Specialist supports software installations, removal, configuration, and connectivity. The ideal candidate will be able to function successfully in an up-tempo environment that requires the ability to address complex problems that will involve hardware, software, and network issues. This is a customer-facing position and demands outstanding customer service and professionalism.

• Resolve internal Uniti customer computer issues-

• Resolve tickets in a timely fashion by adhering to departments SLA.
• Work from IT ticketing system independently as assigned.
• Ability to work in a small group environment.
• Document steps taken for resolutions.
• Engaging other Uniti teams when necessary to resolve issues.
• Proactively identifying problems and finding resolutions.
• Communicating complex technical issues to non-technical customers.
• Attention to detail & organizational skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Provide outstanding customer service.
• Project participation, overtime, and travel as required.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

• Associates degree in technical field
• 5 years’ directly related experience; or an equivalent combination of education and directly related technical experience required.
• Bachelor’s degree may be substituted for some experience as deemed appropriate.
