- Assist the Building Maintenance Superintendent in planning and organizing maintenance activities
- Supervise the maintenance, repair, and alteration of public buildings and equipment
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards in all maintenance operations
- Coordinate and oversee the work of maintenance staff and contractors
- Maintain records and reports related to maintenance activities and expenditures
- Completion of two years of college or trade school coursework in construction or a related field
- Minimum of three years of supervisory experience in building construction, maintenance, or repair
- Experience at the level of a Public Buildings Supervisor or a similar classification
- Valid driver's license from the state of residence
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Additional certifications in building trades or maintenance management
- Experience with public sector maintenance operations
- Knowledge of building codes and safety regulations
- Proficiency in project management software
- Familiarity with budget management and cost control in maintenance operations
