Reports To: Director of Operations / Regional Director
Oversees: 6 Pizza locations
Position SummaryThe District Manager is responsible for the overall operational, financial, and people performance of six Marco’s Pizza locations across Alabama and Mississippi. This role provides leadership, coaching, and accountability to General Managers while ensuring brand standards, guest satisfaction, and profitability are consistently achieved. The ideal candidate is a hands‑on leader with strong multi‑unit restaurant experience and a passion for developing teams.
Key Responsibilities- Operations Excellence Oversee daily operations of 6 Marco’s Pizza restaurants to ensure compliance with company policies, franchise standards, and food safety regulations. Ensure consistent execution of Marco’s Pizza brand standards, including food quality, service, cleanliness, and speed. Conduct regular store visits, operational audits, and performance evaluations. Identify operational challenges and implement corrective action plans.
- Leadership & Team Development Recruit, hire, train, and develop General Managers and Assistant Managers. Coach and mentor management teams to improve leadership skills, accountability, and performance. Lead performance reviews and succession planning for store leadership. Foster a positive, respectful, and results‑driven culture.
- Financial Performance Drive sales growth and profitability across all locations. Analyze P&L statements and key performance indicators (KPIs) such as labor, food cost, controllables, and sales trends. Develop and execute action plans to meet or exceed budgeted goals. Manage labor efficiency while maintaining excellent guest service.
- Guest Experience Ensure exceptional customer service and high guest satisfaction scores. Address escalated guest concerns and resolve issues promptly and professionally. Promote community involvement and local marketing initiatives.
- Compliance & Safety Ensure adherence to all local, state, and federal labor, health, and safety regulations. Maintain food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety standards across all locations. Ensure accurate documentation and reporting.
Minimum 3–5 years of multi‑unit restaurant management experience (QSR or fast‑casual preferred). Proven ability to lead, coach, and develop high‑performing management teams. Strong financial acumen with experience managing P&Ls. Excellent communication, organizational, and problem‑solving skills. Ability to travel regularly between locations in Alabama and Mississippi. Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation. Experience with franchise operations (preferred).
Physical & Schedule RequirementsAbility to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed. Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout restaurant environments for extended periods. Occasional lifting up to 25 lbs.
