Apartment Maintenance Manager

The Service Manager will oversee the repair and maintenance of Fairstead properties in Mobile, Alabama, ensuring timely installation of mechanical equipment, operational effectiveness of electrical systems, and cleanliness of premises in alignment with safety policies and standards.

• Supervise maintenance employees.
• Lead special projects.
• Perform skilled maintenance and repair tasks.
• Ensure adherence to accident and safety precautions.
• Apply trade expertise with general maintenance and repair skills.
• Work independently on routine projects and seek assistance for more complex tasks.
• Work overtime when required for special projects or emergencies.

• Three (3) years of experience in property maintenance.
• Proficiency in a specific trade with general maintenance and repair skills.
• Knowledge of tools, techniques, and terminology of building and mechanical trades.
• Strong knowledge of accident and safety precautions.
• Ability to use a variety of tools and equipment to complete tasks.
• Excellent organization and project‑management skills.
• Ability to implement and improve policies and procedures.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience with Yardi Software and Real Page is a plus.
