Operations Manager, Program / Project Manager
Airbus Americas, Inc. is seeking a Completions Integration Manager to lead the integration of support functions and drive operational excellence across the Multi-Functional Team (MFT).
Responsibilities- Support the Operations Senior Director by integrating support functions and driving operational excellence across the MFT.
- Maintain accountability for proactive risk identification (e.g., via ARM tools) and execute change plans to mitigate operational risks.
- Enhance the business management system to optimize performance across all SQCDP areas and leverage company‑driven improvement programs.
- Enable the deployment and maturity of essential operational systems such as the Airbus Operating System.
- Conduct comprehensive rate readiness planning and strategically place resources and competencies to support significant ramp‑ups and future build demands.
- Partner with HR to champion recruitment, training, and talent development strategies aligned with future strategic requirements.
- Manage and lead a direct team, ensuring training efficacy and equipping operational stations with necessary resources.
- Resolve complex issues with interfacing functions (Engineering, Supply Chain, etc.) to clear operational bottlenecks and meet build targets.
- Act as a delegate for the Operations Senior Director, including running the Daily L3 review.
- Develop and execute dynamic plans to ensure on‑time and in‑full quality delivery, and manage integrated Multi‑Functional Teams to drive operational cost savings.
- Directly mitigate risks such as delays to Single‑Aisle ramp‑ups that carry significant financial and customer impacts.
- Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Quality Management, Aerospace Engineering, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in aviation.
- Minimum 5 years of experience managing and leading within an aviation production environment.
- Systems expertise: proven experience deploying the Airbus Operations System and/or continuous improvement frameworks in an aviation environment.
- Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
- Strong data analytics, data governance, and export control knowledge.
- Knowledge of sustainability fundamentals and the ability to develop short‑ and mid‑term resource planning scenarios.
- Demonstrated ability to influence cross‑functional teams, manage human aspects of change, and drive strategic orientation.
