Job Overview
Airbus is looking for a Supervisor II to assist the Flight Line Director in leading aircraft maintenance flight line activities, including integration and pre/post production flight test and delivery operations.
Responsibilities- Direct overall flight line maintenance activities with minimum supervision.
- Support and direct team leads and Flight Maintenance Team (MFT) in daily maintenance; plan, control and adjust workload, headcount, schedule and overtime for timely delivery per approved schedule.
- Engage team members and conduct SQCDP and daily status meetings to obtain support from MFT.
- Assist the Flight Line Manager in overseeing capital and operating expenditures for flight line operation, maintaining daily cost management.
- Maintain program Balanced Scorecard targets and support rate ramp‑up.
- Identify potential technical work stoppage, eliminate and anticipate problems, prepare recovery plans to minimize impact on schedule.
- Apply PPS and Return‑to‑Zero policy; monitor production headcount, budget and daily booking time versus efficiency.
- Manage MFT team, shift supervisors and leads in daily pass‑down meetings; review outstanding RNC, Cahiers, TLB and QLB points.
- Coordinate with suppliers, trade coordinators and other stakeholders during delivery; conduct performance evaluations and recommend promotions, salary adjustments and disciplinary actions up to terminations.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- High School Diploma or GED (Bachelor’s Degree in Aviation Management preferred).
- At least 5 years of leadership experience (10 years of aviation experience preferred).
- Airframe and Powerplant Certification.
- Proficiency in MS Office and data analysis skills.
- Experience in aircraft maintenance scheduling and servicing of military or civilian aircraft.
- Strong leadership, communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work both collaboratively and independently in a cross‑functional environment.
- Flexible, initiative‑driven problem‑solving ability.
- US citizenship required; 5% domestic and international travel.

Onsite work with vision, hearing, speaking, equipment operation; ability to carry, lift and push/pull items up to 30 lbs, stand, walk and use required PPE including safety shoes and eye protection.
