- - Responsibilities:
Provide exemplary leadership for the store by driving the pet parent experience through culture and strategies, achieving targeted results.;
Participate in employment decisions such as recruiting, interviewing, hiring, coaching, and terminating.;
Facilitate associate experience and development, including reviews, recognition, training, onboarding, mentoring, and succession planning.;
Manage staffing coverage for experience activities and communicate priorities to associates.;
Oversee the pet parent experience across Pet Smart services (salon, training, hotel, day camp), live pet sales and adoptions, and respond to escalated concerns.;
Drive store productivity and scheduling with services associates to grow the business and meet company goals.;
Monitor store standards and ensure compliance with policies and code of ethics; conduct monthly Services Walks to validate execution.
