Operations Manager_Mobile Mission

Job Summary:

The Waterfront Rescue Mission,
recognized in 2025 as one of the Best Christian Workplaces in the country, is hiring a positive, highly productive, safety-minded and team oriented Operations Manager to join our team at our Mobile Mission location. This position directly supervises all Support Staff positions (including but not limited to; Food Services Manager, Cook, Van Driver, Foreman, Chaplain's Assistant, Overnight Staff, etc.).

• Education/
  
  Experience:
  
  Bachelor's Degree Management, Social Work or related field; and two or more years related experience and/or training in ministry operations; or equivalent combination of education and experience in management level positions.
• Must have a valid driver's license and be insurable by the WRM's insurance carrier.
• Operations Management experience desired
• Must be willing to sign WRM's Statement of Faith & Sexuality and Gender Policy

• This position serves as the Manager on Duty when the Director of Mission is off campus or unavailable.
• Coordinates appointments for clients and transportation to and from the scheduled appointments.
• Takes inventories; develops, places, and receives orders for supplies; collects data; makes detailed reports, keeps manual counts, etc.
• Creates & manages; weekly cooking, cleaning, laundry, housekeeping schedules, special events and functions.
• Assists Chaplains in addressing client needs, problems, etc. when needed.
• Oversees day to day operations of facilities and client activities; manages interruptions on behalf of staff.
