Airbus Commercial Aircraft is looking for a Composite Technician I to join our team in Mobile, AL.

Ability to objectively self-inspect work, finished parts and components as required. Maintain written records and work logs in accordance with Federal Aviation Administration (FAA);
European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) and Transport Canada (TCAA) requirements.

The team at the Airbus U.S. Manufacturing facilities helps assemble the finest aircraft in the world, across production lines for the A220 and A320 Family aircraft. On the shop floor you will be surrounded by individuals who are passionate about aviation and skilled in areas like electrical, structure and quality. • Ability to read and interpret common blueprint/drawings types.
• Perform composite repairs (as directed) related to molds, wet and prepreg layup, re-work/repair of existing structures.
• Self-inspect parts and components where applicable.
• Use related measuring devices/tools to ensure adherence to part/documentation requirements.
• Adhere to policies regarding accurate recording of completed work and work-in-progress.
• Housekeeping and assistance with lifting/pushing/pulling tasks.
• Maintain acceptable/normal levels of on-hand stock quantities.

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Technical/Professional/Vocational training in the composites field (apprenticeship, institutional training, etc.)
• Three (3) or more years of hands-on experience with aerospace or equivalent composites
• One (1) or more years of experience in aerospace (preferred but not required)
• Proficient in English (read, write and communicate effectively)
• A second language is preferred but not required (French, Spanish, German)
