Millwright

Theodore, AL: Flexicrew Technical Services (FTS) is seeking a skilled Millwright to support industrial maintenance operations by assembling, installing, maintaining, and repairing manufacturing equipment in a 24/7 production environment.

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair industrial machinery, including conveyors, grinders, pumps, and pneumatic systems
• Assemble and install new machinery by interpreting blueprints, diagrams, and schematic drawings
• Align and level machines and equipment using hoists, jacks, hand tools, micrometers, squares, rules, and plumb bobs
• Perform preventive maintenance inspections, lubrication, and adjustments to reduce downtime and ensure safety compliance
• Fabricate, repair, or modify components using welding and torch-cutting equipment as required

• High school diploma or GED required; vocational training or completion of a related apprenticeship strongly preferred
• Demonstrated experience as a Millwright or Industrial Maintenance Technician in a manufacturing or heavy industrial environment
• Proficiency with welding processes (MIG, TIG, Stick), hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanical power transmission systems
• Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced setting
• Must be available to work rotating shifts, nights, weekends, holidays, and mandatory overtime
• Reliable transportation to and from the worksite
• Rotating shifts with required availability for overtime and holidays

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Capability to climb ladders, work at heights, and perform tasks requiring standing, bending, and kneeling
• Must be able to work in varying weather conditions and industrial environments
