Responsibilities- Lead and direct all manufacturing operations to achieve safety, quality, cost, delivery, and growth objectives
- Develop and execute short- and long-term manufacturing strategies aligned with business goals
- Oversee production operations, manufacturing engineering, scheduling, and facility maintenance
- Drive the deployment of lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives across the plant
- Optimize production flow, reduce cycle times, and manage inventory levels effectively
- Improve labor efficiency through process improvement, layout optimization, tooling, and equipment enhancements
- Ensure manufacturing, assembly, and testing operations meet quality, schedule, and cost targets
- Lead capital investment initiatives with measurable operational returns
- Maintain high levels of customer service through reliable production and on-time delivery
- Partner with quality and safety leadership to maintain robust quality systems and a safe work environment
- Champion safety, housekeeping, 5S, and loss prevention programs across the facility
- Guide employee relations, training, and workforce development in collaboration with HR
- Foster a positive, collaborative culture that supports engagement, accountability, and performance
- Ensure manufacturing processes and tooling are documented to support consistency and knowledge retention
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field preferred; equivalent results-driven experience may be considered
- Advanced degree such as an MBA is a plus
- 8–10 years of progressive leadership experience in manufacturing operations
- Extensive experience applying Lean Manufacturing principles to drive continuous improvement
- Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop diverse teams across hourly and salaried work forces
- Strong strategic thinking and operational decision-making skills
- Advanced analytical capabilities with experience using KPIs and performance metrics
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively across engineering, sales, marketing, and quality functions
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Power BI
- Experience with ERP systems; AS400/BPCS exposure is a plus
- Comfortable presenting operational data and insights to senior leadership
