Typical
Duties & Responsibilities
* Safely and accurately perform the following machining processes
* Maintain knowledge of digital read-outs (DRO)
* Machine nozzles and discs including polishing using the lathe in the shop and the field
* Machine broken studs on small bodies using the drill press
* Hone internal bores
* Use magnetic drill for stud removal
* Use drill press or pneumatic tools for disking seats
* Machine flanges (raised-face, RTJ ring joint, Grayloc, lens-ring, etc.)
* Machine seats and trim (gate, globe, and check valves)
* Machine gear operator segments
Operate the following machines: milling machine, VTL, drill press, surface grinder, horizontal mill, manual lathes, honing tools, band and cut-off saw, and Lap Master
