Position:Excavator Operator with Rock Breaker Attachment
Location:
Lacey’s Spring Quarry, Lacey’s Spring, AL
Shift: 1st Shift (6:00 AM – 3:00 PM)

Based on verifiable experience
- Operate an excavator with rock breaker/hammer.
- Perform daily pre‑ and post‑inspections and document results in accordance with company policies.
- Service and maintain equipment as trained and directed by management.
- Operate equipment with a high degree of competency, skill, and proficiency.
- Follow all company policies and OSHA/MSHA/environmental regulations for safe working procedures and environment.
- Complete any additional duties assigned by management.
- Uncompromising focus on safety excellence.
- 1+ year of experience operating an excavator (preferred).
- Previous quarry experience with rock breaker/hammer (preferred).
- Ability to perform safety and maintenance inspections throughout the day.
- Demonstrated equipment and troubleshooting knowledge.
- Ability to use both hands and feet simultaneously.
- Work in an environment with noise levels that may require hearing protection.
- Must be able to hear and understand commands from supervisors and alarms from equipment.
- Ability to crawl and climb on, over, under, and inside construction equipment.
- Lift and carry objects and materials up to 70 pounds.
- Good vision, both close‑up and long‑distance, with ability to look forward, side‑to‑side, and rearward of equipment.
- Team‑player mentality.
- Comfortable working outdoors in varied weather conditions, including dust, noise, heat, and cold.
- Must pass pre‑employment drug testing.
