Welder
We are currently seeking to hire a Welder to join our company. The Welder will be responsible for set‑up, fitting and leveling along with tool usage such as cutting and grinding. Minimal Flux Core (FCAW) welding is required.
DescriptionQualifications:
- Proven experience as a Fabricator or similar role in a metal fabrication setting.
- Proficiency in FCAW & GMAW although the job does not have many weld call‑outs.
- Being bilingual is a plus!
- Knowledge of metalworking tools, and various Leveling tools.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high‑quality work.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and schematics.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and a collaborative attitude.
- Safety‑conscious with knowledge of workplace safety procedures.
- A dedication to Sher Contracting's mission and values.
SUPERVISION: Weld Supervisor and Project Manager
TIME COMMITMENT: 40 Hours Minimum
Salary$50,000 - $65,000 per year
