Grade 11. Pay Range $31-36 per hour. Shift differential: $0.50/hour day shift, $2.50/hour night shift.

$6,000 sign‑on bonus available.

As a Maintenance Technician I at BASF ECMS, you will troubleshoot and repair electrical controls, electronic, mechanical, hydraulic, PLC (Siemens and ABB), and pneumatic systems on all site equipment. You will provide technical support for new equipment installations, perform preventative maintenance, gather and analyze technical data, recommend and document repairs or modifications, and create corrective work notifications in SAP.

• Troubleshoot and repair electrical controls, electronic, mechanical, hydraulic, PLC (Siemens and ABB), and pneumatic systems on all site equipment.
• Provide technical support for all new equipment installations.
• Perform and ensure preventative maintenance (PMs) are completed per schedule and that all plant lab and weighing systems are performing within the specifications of process requirements.
• Gather and analyze technical data and recommend needed repairs or modifications on production equipment. Update electrical and mechanical drawings for equipment modifications (e.g., red line drawings).
• Assist in the development of PM programs for all new equipment.
• Establish or modify work procedures including PM to meet the demands of the site.
• Make recommendations to improve maintenance and production operations.
• Create corrective work notifications in SAP for all production equipment.

• High School Diploma or GED with 5 years I&E / Industrial Maintenance experience, OR an Associate/Technical degree in a related Industrial Maintenance field.
