PositionSummary
Responsible for the maintenance of tooling, including issuance and receipt of various tools and supplies, while maintaining appropriate record keeping.
Primary Responsibilities- Data entry of all related tooling.
- Transfer tooling to various designated tooling areas throughout the facility.
- Return tooling to inventory.
- Stock and inventory all tooling daily.
- Control customer furnished tooling.
- Adhere to safe maintenance practices and maintaining a clean work area.
- Assist ensuring tools remain within calibration measurements.
- Maintain quality control of respirators.
- Conduct tooling repair, including lubrication of tooling.
- Build tooling racks and shelving units when tasked.
- Able to identify aircraft tools.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
- HS Diploma.
- 3+ years of experience working with parts inventory or distribution type environment. Experience in aviation environments is preferred.
- Knowledge and experience working in an ERP systems is preferred (such as SAP, P2K, etc.).
- Knowledge of aviation parts.
- Hands on experience working in Microsoft Office packages is required.
- Must be well organized and precise to manage parts inventory with accuracy.
- Able to read instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the basic functions of the job.
- This position will work under limited supervision.
- Excellent communication skills both written and spoken.
- US Citizenship or Permanent Resident (Green Card Holder) is required.
