Mig Welder

Mobile, AL:
Flexicrew Technical Services (FTS) is seeking a skilled MIG Fence Welder to fabricate, assemble, and repair metal fencing systems, gates, and related components while maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and productivity.

• Perform MIG welding on galvanized steel pipe, gates, fence panels, and related metal components
• Cut, fit, fabricate, and assemble materials including pipe, square tubing, steel, aluminum, and other fencing materials
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, measurements, and work instructions
• Operate welding, cutting, grinding, and fabrication equipment safely and efficiently
• Load and unload materials using forklifts, skid steers, and other material‑handling equipment
• Assist customers by gathering, preparing, and loading purchased materials
• Inspect completed welds and fabricated products to ensure quality standards are met
• Perform repairs and modifications to fencing systems as needed
• Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a clean and organized condition
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures

• Previous MIG welding experience required; TIG and stick welding experience preferred
• Experience fabricating and assembling metal structures from blueprints and specifications
• Ability to accurately read a tape measure and perform basic fabrication calculations
• Experience operating forklifts, skid steers, and common fabrication equipment preferred
• Ability to use hand tools, power tools, cutting torches, grinders, and measuring devices
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast‑paced environment

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and lift throughout the workday
• Ability to regularly lift and carry up to 50 pounds
• Ability to work in indoor and outdoor environments and around welding fumes, noise, and moving equipment
• Ability to safely perform repetitive fabrication and welding tasks
