Responsibilities- Lead and manage the Operations team across all areas of the Flowline to deliver fully equipped, furnished, powered and certified single‑aisle aircraft on time, quality and cost.
- Provide direction and oversight to production activities to achieve 95%+ in‑station build for all value streams.
- Master all elements of the Performance Management Center and monitor budgetary requirements for consumables, hand tools, and jigs/tooling maintenance.
- Address work orders, WIP material management, design and process questions and ground test activities.
- Recruit, select, develop, and recognize employees; manage performance and succession planning for station personnel.
- Develop manpower forecasts based on line balancing, activity sequencing, and required skill sets.
- Prevent and eliminate disturbances in the manufacturing process and monitor quality output.
- Integrate and coordinate activities on the Final Assembly Line (FAL).
- Maintain high technical knowledge within the workforce regarding mobility, turnover, and new operations.
- Ensure compliance with legal, airworthiness, OSHA, and other safety regulations.
- Analyze cost of non‑quality data to identify root causes and eliminate human‑factor defects.
- Collaborate with Quality, Procurement, and specialty areas to improve workflow and processes.
- Partner with procurement to secure consumable materials, tools, and equipment.
- Lead coaching, training, and development of Operations teams to meet annual objectives.
- Manage departmental budgets and costs in alignment with the annual operating plan.
- Document aircraft handover, accurate quality gate data, and first‑time overhead target achievement.
- Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Aviation, Business, or a related field (preferred).
- 8–10 years of experience in aviation manufacturing, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- 5+ years in aviation production disciplines (mechanics, structure, electrics).
- Experience in a multicultural work environment and with Quality/Logistics rules in aviation manufacturing.
- Demonstrated ability to plan, organize, and achieve results in complex environments.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office; SAP, MES & HMS preferred.
- Knowledge of Quality Management Systems and production management systems.
- High degree of flexibility, initiative, and understanding of industry safety practices.
