K&R Staffing is currently seeking experienced Weld Grinders for a well-established manufacturer specializing in architectural doors, frames, hardware, and specialty metal products. If you take pride in producing high-quality finishes and have experience working in a metal fabrication environment, we'd love to hear from you.

Responsibilities:

• Grind, smooth, and finish welded metal components to meet quality standards.
• Remove excess weld material, slag, and imperfections using hand and power grinders.
• Blend welds to create seamless, professional finishes on steel products.
• Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and production drawings.
• Inspect finished products for quality, accuracy, and cosmetic appearance.
• Safely operate grinders, sanders, and other fabrication tools.
• Work closely with welders and fabrication teams to ensure production deadlines are met.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area while following all safety procedures.

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a weld grinder, metal finisher, or fabrication technician required.
• Experience working with carbon steel, stainless steel, or architectural metal products preferred.
• Ability to use angle grinders, die grinders, flap wheels, and finishing tools.
• Ability to read a tape measure and basic fabrication drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Reliable transportation and dependable attendance.
• Must be able to pass a drug screen and background check.
