**** Airbus is looking for a Machinist I to join our Manufacturing team in Mobile, Alabama.

**** On ‘Airbus Way’ you will find the Airbus U.S. Manufacturing Facility for commercial aircraft. Opened at the Mobile Aeroplex at Brookley in 2015, the facility produces A320 Family aircraft and added a second product line for the A220 in 2019. **** Your Challenges:****
* **** Manufacturing Parts:**** + Perform all aspects of machining to include setup and operation of equipment such as 3-axis and 5-axis CNC mills, lathes, routers, lasers as well as manual milling machine and manual experience programming using Catia or better. + Ability to read and write g-code using CAM software as the machine controller. + Produce quality products in a timely manner using specifications and documents in conjunction with written work.

+ Maintain a demanding level of quality working on Aerospace materials such as aluminum, titanium stainless steel, and other materials. + Be able to read and interpret blueprints, drawings and written work plans machining by studying work orders, blueprints, engineering plans, materials, specifications, orthographic drawings, reference planes, locations of surfaces, and machining parameters; interpreting geometric dimensions and tolerances (GD&T). + Utilizes ISO compliant documentation and/or processes to determine dimensions and tolerance of finished workpiece, sequence of operations and setup.

+ Use of various measuring techniques used to validate conformance to requirements. + Knowledge of tooling, tool setting and offsetting, setting work offsets, and basic inspections. + Starts and observes machine operations to detect malfunctions or out-of-tolerance machining, and adjusts machine controls. + Verifies conformance of finished first article workpiece to specifications and conducts subsequent inspection of workpiece in accordance with the machine shop's statistical process control (SPC) inspection.
