Responsibilities
  • Increase our ability to evaluate general interventional radiology problems: the demand of the service has been steadily and sharply increasing.
  • Perform out-patient and inpatient interventional radiology evaluations and procedures.
  • Knowledgeable about interventional radiology procedures
  • Evaluate new general IR patients
  • See follow up patients from hospital in the clinic setting
  • Take patients calls and discuss results with parents
  • Completes all mandatory department, educational and hospital requirements
  • Adheres to current Infection Control and Safety Standards
  • Regular and prompt attendance
  • Ability to work schedule as defined and overtime as required
  • Related duties as assigned
Additional Information

Employees must be in a regular position, working 20 hours or more per week (.50 FTE or greater) to qualify for benefits.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in nursing from an accredited institution and completion of an approved nurse practitioner training program Required
  • NPC - Certified Nurse Practitioner Required
  • Licensed Nurse Practitioner with the state of Alabama Required
  • RN - Registered Nurse - State Licensure and/or Compact State Licensure in accordance with the Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) for Alabama Required
  • Comparable combination of education and experience may substitute for the above requirements.
