Tink Bird Healthcare Staffing is seeking an experienced Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for a full-time permanent opportunity with a growing urgent care organization in Auburn, AL. This position offers a flexible 3-day work week, strong compensation and benefits, and the opportunity to practice independently in a fast‑paced urgent care setting with strong clinical support.

Outpatient Urgent Care
- Assess, diagnose, and treat acute and episodic conditions
- Perform urgent care procedures including:
- Laceration repair
- Abscess drainage
- Splinting
- Wound care
- DOT physicals
- Order, interpret, and review:
- In‑house laboratory testing
- Imaging studies
- Prescribe medications and develop treatment plans
- Provide patient education and follow‑up instructions
- Maintain accurate and timely EMR documentation
- Collaborate with clinic support staff to ensure efficient patient flow and quality outcomes
Fully equipped urgent care clinic with on‑site diagnostics, Experity EMR system, average patient volume of 3–4 patients per hour, structured clinical onboarding and orientation, established workflows and clinical protocols, access to clinical leadership and network resources, primary provider on‑site during shifts.
ScheduleFull‑time schedule: three 12‑hour shifts weekly with rotating weekends, no call responsibilities. Self‑scheduling system with schedules published in advance. Additional shifts available with overtime pay after 40 hours weekly.
Requirements- Licensed FNP‑C or PA‑C in Alabama or eligible for licensure
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Minimum of 1 year of urgent care, emergency medicine, or primary care experience preferred
- Strong clinical judgment and communication skills
- Comfortable working independently in a fast‑paced environment
- Patient‑centered approach to care
Hourly compensation ranging from $55–$70/hour DOE. Annualized compensation approximately $103,000–$131,000. Productivity incentives available above base compensation.
