Camellia Health & Rehab is a skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility located in Mobile, Alabama, seeking an Infection Prevention Nurse / Clinical Educator (RN) to lead infection control and staff education.

- Lead and manage the facility's Infection Prevention and Control Program
- Monitor, track, trend, and report infections in accordance with CDC, CMS, and state guidelines
- Conduct infection surveillance, investigations, and follow-up activities
- Develop and implement infection prevention policies and procedures
- Educate staff on infection control practices, hand hygiene, isolation precautions, and disease prevention
- Coordinate new hire clinical orientation and onboarding programs
- Provide ongoing staff education, competency validation, and skills training
- Assist with clinical audits, quality improvement initiatives, and regulatory compliance efforts
- Support survey readiness and participate in state and federal surveys
- Maintain education records, competency files, and training documentation
- Collaborate with nursing leadership to improve clinical outcomes and staff performance
- Current Alabama Registered Nurse (RN) license required
- Infection Prevention, Staff Development, Clinical Educator, or Skilled Nursing experience preferred
- Knowledge of CDC, CMS, OSHA, and state regulatory requirements
- Experience conducting staff training, competency evaluations, and clinical education programs
- Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills
- Ability to analyze clinical data and implement process improvements
- Infection Preventionist certification preferred but not required
