Field Case Manager (Mobile, AL)

Must live within the Mobile, AL and surrounding areas to be considered for this position.

PRIMARY PURPOSE OF

THE ROLE

Field Case Managers work face‑to‑face with injured workers and medical providers to facilitate advocacy, progressive medical treatment, and timely return‑to‑work. They act as liaisons, providing communication between all involved parties while maintaining a home‑based office and traveling as needed.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Apply medical/clinical or rehabilitation knowledge to aid in the management of complex medical conditions, treatment planning, and recovery from illness or injury.
  • Serve as patient advocate, guiding and coordinating care for injured workers, families and caregivers throughout recovery.
  • Assist injured workers in achieving recovery and autonomy through advocacy, communication, education, and resource facilitation.
  • Identify and coordinate appropriate providers and facilities, ensuring timely and cost‑effective use of resources for optimum value.
EDUCATION AND LICENSING
  • RN licensure preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in health or human services required, along with one of the following certifications: CCM, CDMS, or CRC.
  • Valid driver’s license required.
  • High‑speed internet required; employment may be contingent upon a motor vehicle record check.
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
  • Clear and conceptual thinking ability; excellent judgment, troubleshooting, and problem‑solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and handle work‑related stress.
  • Proficiency in computer keyboarding; willingness to travel as required.
