Our Post Surgical Medical‑Surgical Unit is a 32‑bed inpatient unit specializing in the care of patients recovering from general, orthopedic, and neurosurgical procedures. The unit also supports medical‑surgical overflow as needed. Nurses on this unit typically manage a 1:6 nurse‑to‑patient ratio, providing comprehensive postoperative monitoring, pain management, and coordinated interdisciplinary care.

• Accurately perform patient assessments and identify medical‑surgical needs.
• Perform postoperative assessments.
• Perform wound care.
• Perform timely and appropriate documentation related to medical necessity in the medical record.
• Assist in multidisciplinary collaborations.

• Associate’s Degree in Nursing required;
  Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred.
• Basic Life Support required.
• ACLS, PALS, and Handle with Care preferred.
• Experience preferred, but new grads welcomed to apply.
