Role
Inpatient Services Charge Nurse responsible for overseeing acute dialysis treatments within hospitals or facilities.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate and schedule patient care staff.
- Ensure compliance with policies and regulations.
- Perform and oversee dialysis treatments.
- Monitor quality and safety standards.
- Communicate with healthcare teams.
- Current state nursing licensure.
- CPR/BLS certified.
- Minimum of 9 months nursing experience with 3 months in dialysis.
- Leadership and management skills.
- Excellent communication.
- Ability to perform physical tasks including patient lifting.
- Maintain documentation.
- Participate in quality audits.
- Coordinate equipment maintenance.
- Practice cost containment.
- Assist with projects as assigned.
Healthcare setting involving direct patient care, travel between facilities, and exposure to infectious materials. Heavy lifting and prolonged standing required. Reasonable accommodations available for disabilities.
