Within the Intermediate Care Neonatal unit, the Nurse Practitioner will care for newborns who require specialized observation, treatment, and support in a collaborative step-down nursery environment. Reporting to designated neonatal and hospital clinical leadership, the Nurse Practitioner will practice with established protocols, physician collaboration, specialty consultation, and accessible operational support. Responsibilities may include neonatal assessments, diagnostic interpretation, treatment planning, medication management, documentation, family education, discharge coordination, and participation in quality and safety programs. Friendly nurses, experienced physicians, respiratory therapists, pharmacists, case managers, and a diverse team of healthcare professionals create a respectful setting where the Advanced Practice Provider can exercise sound clinical judgment and make a visible impact.
