DVM Focus is recruiting an Associate Veterinarian for an established small animal practice in Alabama’s Mobile Bay area. This opportunity offers a varied general practice caseload, experienced team support, mentorship, and room to continue developing across medicine, surgery, and dentistry.

Recent graduates and experienced veterinarians are both encouraged to explore the opportunity.

Your caseload may include:

• Wellness and preventive medicine
• General medical care
• Diagnostic workups and case management
• Routine surgery
• Dentistry
• Same-day sick visits
• Client education and communication
• Collaboration with veterinarians and support staff

You’ll have the opportunity to build lasting client relationships while continuing to strengthen your clinical skills.

• DVM, VMD, or equivalent veterinary degree
• Active Alabama veterinary license or ability to obtain one
• Strong communication and client-service skills
• Interest or proficiency in general medicine, surgery, and dentistry
• Collaborative, team-oriented approach to patient care
• Commitment to continued professional development

Recent graduates are welcome, and mentorship is available.

DEA licensure and USDA accreditation are preferred but may be obtained after hire.

Market-based compensation range: $105,000–$175,000
, depending on experience, qualifications, schedule, clinical skill set, and compensation structure.
